JAC Theater

The JAC Theater is located at 100 North Central Avenue. It is the main stage for JAC performances, but it is also a popular venue for many Los Angeles arts and cultural groups for high-quality productions. It is used often for private rentals as a premier space for presentations and events, sometimes with a world-wide audience.

Why are the doors locked?
The Theater is not typically open to the public except for scheduled events. Also, performances are often scheduled in the JAC Forum. On foot, it is located behind the Theater, accessible through MOCA.

The Theater Box Office opens 90 minutes before a performance; the lobby is closed at all other times. For advance ticket purchase or will call before that time, please visit the Main Box Office, also located in the Galleries and Forum Building.

Administrative offices

Our business offices are located at 100 North Central Avenue, on the second floor of the Galleries and Forum Building. During normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM), you may enter the building from the public Grand Lobby.

For other business, including deliveries, after-hours meetings, etc. please use our loading dock entrance, located around the corner at 130 Third Street. Our security staff will buzz you in from the walk-in door.

Accessibility at jac

All JAC buildings are wheelchair accessible (including accessible restroom facilities). Wheelchair seating is available in both performance venues and our Screening Room. Please let the Box Office know if you have a person using a wheelchair in your party when you order tickets.

Whenever possible, JAC hangs art in accordance with recommendations from the American Disabilities Act. The JAC Theater is equipped with special listenting-assistance devices for audience members who require them. Please request a headset from the theater coat check. Also, please inquire about scheduled ASL-interpreted performances by calling the JAC Box Office at 818-321-5432.
